Question of the Week: Story Ideas for The Rampage
The Rampage is the student newspaper of Bluefield College — not just written by students, but for students. And that means we want to share the stories students want to read. We want to write about the topics that interest students. So, to help us fulfill that purpose, we recently asked students: “What stories do you want to see in The Rampage?”
-
Collin O’Donnell, BC Student
“I want to read about inspirational stories — stories about how anyone can make it. There are no excuses, and we make our own destiny.”
-
Aynae Simmons, Communication
“I want to see more stories about student concerns. Focusing on profiles and teacher stories are good, but I feel students coming to The Rampage and telling us an issue would get more stories.”
-
Michael Everett, BC Student
“I want to see stories about the dangers that are going on in the Science Center and why people aren’t satisfied with the café.”
-
Charnice White, Sports Medicine and Biology
“I would like to see more inspiring stories. I would like to hear about where people are from and how they got where they are now.”
-
Niquan Cousins, BC Student
“The paper should write about how all students should eat free, or student accomplishments like me reaching one thousand points the other night.”
