Are you a boyfriend or girlfriend looking for cheap date night ideas? College is a great time to have a partner; however, there is nothing cheap about it. When going out to eat gets expensive here are some fun cheap date night ideas.

When summer comes around there are great things to do outside. You could do a picnic at a local park or just somewhere outside. You could play outdoor sports together, like basketball, Frisbee, volleyball, soccer, etc. You could go berry, apple or flower picking, or watch the sunset, sunrise, or star gaze.

A great outdoor place to visit in Bluefield is the East River Mountain Overlook, especially for those sunrises or sunsets. You might also try miniature golf or go for a walk. The hiking trails in Bluefield are very beautiful this time of year. Another very popular cheap summer activity is a late-night drive or a drive-in movie.

During the colder winter months there are some cozy cheap date night ideas for indoors. You can cook together, watch a movie, play a board game, or listen to music. While cooking can be intimidating, you can make it fun by cooking each other your favorite meals. You can make it challenging to see who the better cook is. With movies, pick your favorite movie series and binge it all together; the choices are endless. I think some fun board games for couples are Life, Monopoly, Uno, Trouble, Go Fish, or anything that catches your interest.

Indoors, you might also read a book. I recommend reading the Bible together. It’s a book that will always teach you something and give you different perspectives on life. You can also paint together or take photos for memories. You might even watch your favorite TV series or bake cookies.
