Question of the Week: What Improvements Would You Like to See at BU?
Bluefield University has been busy with a number of improvements on campus, both inside and outside of the classroom. The third floor addition to the Science Center, new academic programs, and a new campus entrance are among the most recent improvements. We asked BU students what other improvements they would like to see made on campus. This is what they had to say.

I think campus parking could be improved, especially in front of Rish Hall.

Updating the heaters (in the residence halls) would be a great improvement. Sometimes it is really hot, and I cannot really do anything about it.

Better accommodations for students with handicaps. Coming off a surgery and being on crutches, I did not realize how limited the accommodations were. One thing would be fixing the doors to open themselves.

BU can be improved by providing more campus-wide activities for commuters. As a commuter, we tend to be left out on a lot of campus activities. This would allow us to go even further with our relationships across campus. Everyone needs to get involved.

I think it would be cool to see more faculty members come to chapel and other ministry events on campus. Students are required to get 10 chapel credits a semester so faculty members should be required to come, too. Professors and other faculty members are to be role models on campus and what better way to encourage students in their beliefs and relationships with Christ than to simply show up and show out at ministry events.
