I feel bad for those that are being affected and hope those that may have to go through it find workplaces as good as Bluefield.

I hope there aren’t any faculty cuts. Some students like the staff here, and it would be hard to let some go and I hope the financial situations straighten out.

-
Bodan N’dalla, Sports Management, 2024

Andrea Stinson, Sports Communication, 2024
I feel as though the university is being cautious and careful about spending to keep from closing. The amount of students attending Bluefield University has to increase in order to regain the financial status. The Athletic Department is a huge part of this campus so we have to continue our recruitment, but in a cautious way about how we can save the school money. The Bluefield University community has to work together in order to restore the ways we are accustomed to.
