Question of the Week: What are Your Plans for the Summer
The end of the 2020-2021 academic school year is fast approaching, and summer break is just around the corner. With that in mind, we asked Bluefield College students: “What are your plans for the summer?” This is what they had to say.
-
Jacob Christian Brooks, Music
I plan on continuing with my journey with music by learning new songs and playing at a few local venues in the area. I plan to use my extra time to put in the work in order to earn a decent income so that I can eventually start my career as a musician.
-
Jaxon Bast, Communication
I plan on getting a job to help for college along with train for wrestling at my club back home.
-
Noah Ross Jennings, Theatre
I plan on getting an acting job in Lynchburg quite soon.
-
Kassidy Brown, Communication
I’ll be here in Bluefield this summer working at the Grind. I will be continuing my internship throughout the summer. It is with ASAP of Anderson, and I help run their social media accounts.
-
Daniel Mullins, Communication
This summer, I will begin an internship with an organization that promotes small businesses in my hometown. I am also looking forward to making up time with my family and friends that was lost during the pandemic.
