Election season has come and gone in the Commonwealth of Virginia, naming Abigail Spanberger as the first female governor in the state’s history. Spanberger, a former U.S. Representative, secured the governorship on November 4 after defeating Republican nominee Winsome Earle-Sears with nearly 58% of the vote—a margin that stands among the largest in recent Virginia elections.
For this week’s Question of the Week, we asked students and professors about the ultimate holiday debate: How early is too early to decorate for Christmas? From strict December-only decorators to those who break out the garland on November 1, the campus had plenty to say. Tune in to see where everyone stands on the holiday timeline!
Senior night is always a bittersweet time as a student-athlete. Some are thankful it’s over, and others are sad to say goodbye to the sport they have loved for so long. Bluefield University held a special evening for the senior members of the women’s volleyball team, having to say goodbye not only to the sport but also to their teammates. The senior night took place at the Bluefield University dome on November 3rd at 7:00 pm.
Bluefield University offices encompass a range of roles, guiding students through the admission process, their college journey, and to graduation with easily-accessible support services.
