Students Compete in Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Graphic Communication • 2024

Feature photo provided by Rampage student photographer Nathan LePere.

A host of Bluefield University students carved and painted a variety of pumpkins in October as part of a pumpkin decorating contest on campus. The pumpkins varied in size and shape, and students, faculty and staff voted on winners in three categories: Best Painted, Best Carved, and Best Overall Pumpkin.

Arisa Namwong won first place as the overall winner, Abigail Bradley won second place as the painted winner, and Tristen Gillenwater won third place as the carved winner.
