Dr. Cynthia Bascom, chair of the Communication Department, is retiring after the spring 2022 semester. Some of her current and former students wanted to thank her for enriching their time at Bluefield University and congratulate her on starting the next chapter of her life.

For Bluefield Campus Ministry, I am an Elevate volunteer and Roots discipleship group leader. I also lead Parkview Baptist Church's on campus Bible study. I am a tenor in the Variations/Chamber Singers mixed choral ensemble. Additionally, I am an intern for Bluefield University's Public Relations office and Tazewell Today.
